Who should attend the one day workshop?

Anyone transitioning to the training profession and/or new in their training role with 1-3 years of experience will gain strategies, tactics, skills, and techniques from this workshop.  HR professionals and Subject Matter Experts who have a training role will also benefit.  In fact, if you or someone else in your organization is interested in strengthening their foundational training skills, this is the place to be!

What training basics will be covered?

There will be four concentrated, interactive, 90-minute sessions on:

§     Needs Analysis

§     Evaluation & Measurement

§    Building a Training Workshop

§    Developing  Platform Skills

PLUS you’ll overview the role of training in today’s workplace, the significance of the ASTD Workplace Learning Skills Pyramid and how it relates to the CPLP certification, and set your own session goals.

What are the fees?

$169 for members; $259 nonmembers (includes a 1 year Dallas ASTD Chapter membership)

How do we keep the cost so reasonable?  We recruit and screen local experts with years of experience in the topic area who volunteer their time and knowledge to “give back” to their colleagues.  We are also fortunate to have the generous support of Cadbury Schweppes beverage company who is sponsoring the training facilities.  All revenues are used to support the Dallas ASTD chapter operations to continue developing a community of experts in workplace learning and performance.

How can I register?  Simply go to http://www.dallasastd.org/ to register and pay online, or call the Dallas ASTD Chapter office at 972/755-0956.
