The 2007 Member Survey Results

This spring, your 2007 Dallas ASTD leadership team conducted a member survey.  We thought our membership would be interested in a few highlights that are listed in this article.  Look for a new improved survey and feedback process from your 2008 leadership team who will also use information from this survey for their planning retreat.  Your feedback is very important so please take a few minutes of your valuable time to complete the survey when it arrives in your inbox next year.  Thank you, Deborah Avrin

         55% of the members completing the survey were training professionals or managers, 24% consultants

         Best time to meet, 68% said dinner, 24% lunch.  Look for a few more lunch meetings next year

 

         Top 10 meeting topics members are interested in:

         The Dallas ASTD Website was very important (48%) to our members- Look for a new and improved website to launch early in 2008 with many of the ideas submitted in the survey

 

         Top benefits of Dallas ASTD Membership:  New ideas/information, networking, Job postings, quality programs and professional development

 

         Need marketing effort to raise public awareness of Dallas ASTD---We agree!  Look for a new marketing plan in 2008.  In the meantime, anything any of our members can do to raise awareness of the great programs and services we provide will be appreciated.
